NO, IT'S OKAY, REMOVE YOUR MASK TO SNEEZE

A tour guide at a well-known historic site shares her story about one tour she was giving in the middle of the pandemic of 2020 (really, can we please just pretend 2020 is done and over?). It was a small group of three senior citizens from a retirement home. Again, high risk group so why are they venturing out to being with? But that's for another time. Overall they've been pretty good with wearing their masks until....

Halfway through the tour they enter one of the smallest rooms. The man says 'excuse me' as he turns away, lowers his mask, and proceeds to sneeze into the room. In a pandemic. When mask are worn to remind people NOT to do just that. How he managed to survive to his senior years is still a mystery.

Tour guides, retail workers, baristas, etc. are real, living people who are just as concerned about their health as you are about yours. They are being exposed daily to the sick. Stop treating them like your servants who don't count.
